Over the last 3 weeks, authorities in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur and in the entire Davao Gulf is implementing the off-season for fishing to pave way for the breeding of fishes which is currently happening. This move is expected to bear positive gains in as far as production of marine products in concerned especially within the 15-kilometer municipal waters where local fisher folks sourced out their daily catches for food and income.This photo is a common commercial fishing boat called "Tapay-Tapay", also taking sometime to park by Tuban Bay due to the no-fishing policy. |
