SIARGAO ISLAND, Surigao del Norte. A very popular surfing destination internationally. It hosts the annual International Surfing Competition.


ROXAS BOULEVARD, MANILA. A popular sunset in Manila Bay is a usual scenery every fine afternoon along Roxas Boulevard. Being the busiest metropolis in the country, Manila still has a lot to offer especially with this beautiful spot where the long promenade is constructed to give comfort to those who love to chase a sunset.



MT. HAMIGUITAN. This mountain is located in the Province of Davao Oriental and has been a subject of conservation because it is home to diverse flora and fauna in the country. In 2014, it was inscripted by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The mountain features a unique landscape made up of huge bonsai forest.


HIJO ESTATE RESORT, TAGUM CITY. This is a night shot taken at the Fishing Village of Banana Beach Resort in Tagum City. This former agri-farm is now converted into a first-class resort and is one of Tagum's premiere destination.




COMPOSTELA VALLEY PROVINCE. This is the famous Solidarity Ring of Compostela Valley, a young province adjacent to Davao del Norte. Its capital town is Nabunturan. ComVal is known for its mining industry, reason for the crafting of this solidarity ring that symbolizes unity among Comvaleños.



GENERAL SANTOS CITY. This photo was taken at a range near Mt. Sabrina Resort in Gensan featuring the panoramic view of the city fronting the huge SOCSARGEN mountain range. It's exact location is at Tumbler, GenSan City.


DAHICAN BEACH. Considered as a jewel of the east coast, Dahican Beach is a 7-kilometer coastal area located in the City of Mati, Davao Oriental. It has huge waves ideal for surfing and skim boarding.  



BALATUKAN RANGE, Gingoog City. One of the most dominant mountains in Misamis Oriental, Mt. Balatukan is a popular climbing destination in Region X. It is situated in the small city of Gingoog. 



THE SLEEPING DINOSAUR. This amazing island is located in Mati City, Davao Oriental and is known for its being a dinosaur-like shape. There is a view deck somewhere in the national highway before reaching the city proper that allows everybody to take picture of this behemoth island. 



TANGKA-AN BEACH. This beautiful site is located in the Municipality of Padre Burgos, Southern Leyte. This beach resort is filled with rock formations along the coast line, and it is situated face to face with the Limasawa Island. What attracted me most is the replica of Padre Burgos, one of the three priests who were assassinated by the Spaniards along with Fr. Gomez and Zamora.


UNDERGROUND RIVER. The Underground River in Puerto Princesa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a Philippine Natural Park. It is Palawan's ultimate natural jewel and has made the city one of the most-sought after destinations in the world. Previously known as PP Subterranean River, this river in a cave simply amazing. You cannot afford to visit Palawan without dropping by its famous Underground River.


MT. MAYON. The world's perfect cone located in Bicol Region, particularly in Albay, is one of the country's premiere destinations. This amiable but dangerous volcano  is a dream mountain for mountaineers, but when I get there, I wasn't allowed to climb due to the 5-kilometer restriction as a result of its continuous frowning.


TAGUM CITY. A component City in Davao del Norte, Tagum is a fast-growing city in Davao region. It is well known for its beautiful palm trees planted along its major streets. It is only 1 hour and a half travel from Davao City.


CARAMOAN ISLAND. Located in the Caramoan Peninsula, Camarines Sur, this group of islands offers spectacular experience to its visitors. The beach is pristine, with crystal clear waters and white sand. It hosts several reality show series called SURVIVOR.  


CAPONES ISLAND. Facing the South China Sea is this alluring little island located in Zambales.It is one of the two popular destinations in the place (the other one being Anawangin Cove). A 20-minute boat ride will bring you to this isolated place which, aside from its white sand feature, also has that now-unfunctional lighthouse.     


MT. PULAG. Located in Kabayan, Benguet, Mt. Pulag is the 3rd highest mountain in the Philippines and the highest in Luzon. It is one of the most popular hiking destinations in the country with its very captivating panorama and sea of clouds. Dubbed as the playground of the gods, Mt. Pulag is every mountaineer's dream to conquer. My climb to Mt. Pulag happened last October 2010. 


LAKE SEBU. Considered as the Summer Capital of Mindanao, Lake Sebu is located in South Cotabato. It is one of the most popular tourist destination in Mindanao. Lake Sebu boosts of its wide lake bodies and the T'boli tribe dwelling in the place. 



TINUY-AN FALLS. Located in Bislig, Surigao del Sur, Tinuy-an Falls is considered to be Bislig's window to the world. It is a 3-level cascading waterfalls, the middle portion being the most attractive and even referred to as the Niagara Falls of the .  



MT. KITANGLAD. A prominent climbing destination in the province of Bukidnon, Mt. Kitanglad is the fourth highest mountain in the Philippines. Situated in a forested range of Kitanglad, it is considered one of the most diverse mountain ranges in Mindanao.


MAHILAK FALLS. This is located in Digos City, Davao del Sur. I took this shot when I joined an LGU-sponsored river trekking somewhere year 2011.


CHOCOLATE HILLS. This natural structure is believed to have erected million years ago and are actually corral formations. It is located in Carmen, Province of Bohol and have even been considered for the new seven wonders of the world.   My first and only visit to Chocolate Hills happened in year 2008 when I don't have yet a DSLR camera. I hope I will be able to visit it once more. 



MACROHON BAY. This beautiful ocean scape was taken last December 2010 at the town of Macrohon, Southern Leyte. The long coastal stretch of the town offers plenty of opportunities for the town folks. Fishing and tourim are their primary source of income. 
MT. DULANG-DULANG. Mt. Dulang-Dulang is the second highest mountain in the Philippines next to Mt. Apo. It is located in Bukidnon. I consider this mountain as one of the best mountains I climbed with the presence of its mossy forest and varieties of flora species abounding the place. 


ANAWANGIN COVE. This is another attraction in Zambales, an isolated cove some 45 minutes boat ride from the mainland of San Antonio town. It has white sand beach and tropical pine trees growing in the sand.


NEW CORELLA CAVE. Located some 25 minutes North of Tagum City, this cave is one of the many caves located in the town of New Corella, Davao del Norte. The beautiful cave formations, however, is in danger because of human activities that were previously unregulated.


CAMARINES WATER SPORTS COMPLEX. CWC is a unique water sports complex designed basically for wakeboarding. It has ski cable systems with complete amenities such as spa and massage center, restaurant and sand bar. It is operated by the provincial government of Camarines Sur.


MONFORT BAT SANCTUARY. This is a Guinness Book of World Record holder for being the largest colony of fruit bats located in Island Garden City of Samal, Davao del Norte. Owned by the Monfort family, this site is one of Mindanao's prime ecotourism destinations.  


SABANG BAY. This bay is the docking point from Puerto Prinsesa City to the Underground River of Palawan.



ENCHANTED RIVER. Located in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, Enchanted River is a blue-colored lagoon. It is called enchanted as there are unique attributes that can only be experienced and witnessed when one personally visits the place. What makes it more attractive is the assorted fishes abounding the river that adds drama to its fathomless cold water.



GUMASA. The beaches of Gumasa in Glan, Sarangani Province are one of the bests in Mindanao. Here is a photo taken at Coco Beach during a trip to SOCSARGEN region last February 2013 by my travel/outdoor group.



HAGONOY ISLAND. This small island is situated in Bislig, Surigao del Sur. It is a private island owned by the Syjuco family. Being part of the many islands in Surigao Bay, Hagonoy Island can be reached via boat ride 45 minutes from the Mangagoy port. Like any other islands facing the pacific, Hagonoy Island has clear blue waters with a fine white sand.  



BENGUET. I spotted this rainbow somewhere in Benguet on our way back to Baguio after climbing Mt. Pulag. The wide mountain range of Benguet with that green canopy in the backdrop is really perfect wall where that alluring rainbow was placed.  



MACTAN, CEBU. This is just of the 5-star hotels I used to stay when I visited Cebu in 2008. Mactan Shangrila Hotel is one of the most prominent hotels in Lapulapu City, proof that Cebu is really one of the booming cities in the country.



MT. PANDADAGSAAN (White Peak). I considered this mountain as the most technical mountain I ever climbed in my entire life as a mountaineer. This is located in the town of New Bataan, Compostela Valley. The reward of climbing this mountain is very evident with the aura that it can offer to its visitor. This photo shows the mossy forest of White Peak, one that every mountaineer should consider climbing before retiring as mountaineer.  



LAKE HOLON. This lake is situated within the Mt. Parker range in Tiboli, South Cotabato. It is said to be one of the cleanest lakes in the country.



BAGUIO CITY AT NIGHT. This night shot of Baguio City urban-scape was taken in an elevated transient house sometime 2010.
