Here is my share of a photo of a popular Philippine Jeepney. Obviously found only in the Philippines, jeepneys have become part of the culture of Filipinos as one of the major transportation mode all over the country. This was taken last September 5, 2014 in Manolo Fortich highway, Province of Bukidnon.
Just yesterday (October 15, 2014) I saw this carpenter doing his chore while I took pictures of the on-going construction of a new public market building in Escandor area. One of the few experiments I did using the Nikon D5200, an equipment I temporarily adopted from the LGU's Planning Office.
This is another photo pulled out from an old files sometime 2011. It was taken in Barangay Tibolo when I joined a women's day celebration using an Olympus E-500 DSLR camera with a 40-145mm zoom lens. It is always good to see children enjoying their stuff like this one.
This fisher folk from Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur eagerly shows off his early-morning catch of a big cuttlefish (kubotan) which approximately weighs 3 kilograms. His method being employed is spear fishing and through the years he's been making a living out of it. Cuttlefish is among the many sea creatures with a decreasing population due to inappropriate fishing practices in the past.
