Sweetest Job

This farm laborer might have carried the sweetest crop in the world - sugarcane - but with the way they are earning a minimial compensation, carrying this stuff could rather be bitter than sweet. Still, I consider this job the sweetest ever.

Usual Struggle in the Highlands

This was taken in Calamohoy, Kapatagan, Digos City last December 12, 2016. Some folks are assisting a vehicle which has difficulty crossing the road being under repair. This is one of the struggles of the people in  the highlands especially during rainy season.

Early in the morning on October 1, 2016; a woman in Dagsa, Tuban, Sta. Cruz files up her danggit fishes for sun drying. With the bounty of danggit in this place, production of dried danggit is one of the livelihood of women.

A habal-habal driver here ferries a family of six (6) from Barangay Melilia to Poblacion Sta. Cruz. Despite the paved road in this area, residents still choose single motorcycle as the easiest means of transportation.

Rejean is a Bagobo-Tagabawa lady from Sibulan who was a participant of Biyaneng ko Karubbadan. Byaneng is a Bagobo word which means "Muse".
